Many advertisers allow you to “skip ad” after just a few seconds, but why do some advertisers insist on inflicting their poorly-targeted ads on me, removing the ability to skip the ad?

I have decided as an act of civil disobedience to always look away from these ads and turn the sound off.

For this reason, I use Vimeo (Pro version) to host all of my speaking videos, ensuring that my audience does not have to watch someone else’s content when they have come to see mine.
