World-leading AI expert Andrew Grill has been engaged to keynote at the Withers LLP Global Partners Conference in Barcelona in October 2026, addressing approximately 200 partners drawn from the firm’s offices across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
His is to help the full partnership move from passive awareness of AI to active, confident engagement. The session is designed to validate those who are already ahead, provide practical permission and pathway for the majority, and leave no one in the room feeling that ignoring AI is a viable option.
The keynote will be delivered in Andrew’s signature interactive format, with a pre-event AI readiness survey sent to all partners in advance.
Survey results will be analysed using AI on the day, giving the room a live, anonymised picture of where the partnership currently stands.
The session, running up to 90 minutes and supported by facilitated table exercises through the conference app, is designed to reflect Withers’ three practice areas (private client, business and dispute resolution) and their firm-wide culture programme, ensuring every partner leaves with something relevant to their own work rather than a generic technology briefing.
A core theme of the session will be the distinction between what AI can automate and what Withers partners genuinely sell: judgement, relationships and the human counsel that UHNW clients rely on.
