Personal Activity Statements Show Effect of Likes, Shares and Comments on Influence and Outreach

SAN FRANCISCO, CA–(Marketwire – Apr 12, 2012) – Kred, the Community Influence and Outreach measure from PeopleBrowsr, announced today that actions on Facebook now add Influence and Outreach Points to its scores. People who connect their Facebook account to their Kred profile at Kred.com can view personal Activity Statements of the Facebook Posts, Likes, Shares and Comments and Twitter interactions that contribute to their Influence and Outreach scores.

Kred awards Influence Points to people with connected Facebook accounts when others interact with them, including posting to their Facebook wall; liking, sharing or commenting on their posts; mentioning them in posts; or being invited to an event. Outreach Points are given for mentioning someone on their own wall; or posting or commenting on the walls of others who have connected their Kred accounts. Kred Influence & Outreach Points from Facebook will be added to Points earned on Twitter, creating more opportunities to increase Kred scores. Kred’s complete scoring guide is published at http://kred.com/rules.

“The Kred integration lets Facebook’s nearly one billion users understand and drive their influence within their personal networks and communities in an open and transparent way. By adding Facebook’s massive user base to the vibrant Twitter community, Kred strengthens its position as the most open and relevant measure of influence,” said Andrew Grill, CEO, Kred. “We plan to add more social networks and other indicators of influence to Kred and are committed to complete transparency in our score calculations.”

With today’s announcement, Kred becomes the only influence measure to offer the combination of transparent, published activity statements and scoring system; real-time scores within interest-based communities; separate metrics for Influence and Outreach; and credit for offline achievements.
