This week Apple will unveil their latest iPhone, rumoured to sell for around $1000.

I remember my first phone – a Nokia N1000 AMPS phone was $1000 in 1994 – around $1,600 in today’s dollars.

What was your first phone, when and what did it cost you? Can you justify $1,000 on a phone in 2017?

Footnote: I ended up buying the iPhone X – not on launch day but soon after. It is the best phone I have ever owned.
