Next in the AskTheActionableFuturist series we discuss Ethics in AI.

At the recent Mercer Roadshow, I was speaking about the rise of digital agents and how soon we can expect an AI powered digital agent to be running our life – as it will know everything about us.

A delegate asked this question following my keynote:

“Do you think there’s a possibility of corruption where for your digital agent it would be an advantage for Google or Netflix to have the advantage over your agent. What keeps the agent independent?”

As you will see in my short reply below, I believe this opens up the whole issue of Ethics in AI. Who has trained my AI system and is there conscious bias that should be declared before we use such an AI tool?

If your firm is deploying AI, are you worried about the ethics around it?
