‘Shut Up I’m Still Talking’ – How To Listen, Learn & Engage With Your Tribe

Hosted by IBM Interactive
Hashtag: #smwlisten

This is a beginners guide to Twitter – with a difference. We won’t be focusing on what to say, how to say it, or how often to do it. Making a racket on Twitter is pretty easy – and that’s the problem. When everyone’s talking at once, how do you find the people worth listening to?

You might be looking for a community of like-minded enthusiasts, subject matter experts, or potential customers. Maybe you are wanting to research a new topic, raise your profile, or have a really satisfying debate with people you know are actually listening. Join this workshop to learn from the experts how easy it can be to find and follow the people and groups that matter to you – as an individual, or as part of a wider marketing strategy.

Workshop leaders lined up so far include:

Andrew Grill – an internationally renowned thought leader in the field of digital and social media networks, and is CEO of Kred, the largest influence platform in the world.

Paul Crick – an experienced, commercially savvy management consultant and social influence marketing evangelist with a passion for music, personal development and a soft spot for all things Apple. He’s currently working at IBM, helping clients cut through the noise to harness social influence marketing tools and methods ethically and effectively.

(Other leaders to be confirmed shortly)

The session will include a number of practical sessions where you can try the techniques and tools out with our experts on hand to help you. We’ll have wifi, but you’ll need to bring your own smartphone, tablet or laptop.
