Is your brand recognition this good?

I walked past this outdoor ad in London recently.

Just one word describes the product. Could your brand advertise in this way?

Unless you’ve been under a rock, you would already know that this ad is for a musical about the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, with music, lyrics, and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

There has been little advertising about the content of the musical itself, as the Hamilton brand has used good old word-of-mouth about a great product. When I was in New York 3 years ago, everyone was talking about it.

It was the musical you literally couldn’t get tickets to. When I saw this ad this morning I wondered aloud how many other brands could advertise with just one word describing their product or service.

How easy is it to describe what you sell?
