Entrepreneurs Wales 2013 – The big debate! Have your say on entrepreneurship in your local region.

Building on the success of the ‘Entrepreneurs Wales 2012’ conference, the Welsh Government will be running a series of evening events across Wales.  The theme is ‘making Wales a more entrepreneur centric place to do business’ and will start from 5pm at the University of South Wales, Main Hall, Caerleon Campus.

Each session will be hosted by Sarah Dickins, BBC Wales Economic Correspondent and include a keynote address from a high profile speaker, networking opportunities and a topical panel discussion. There will also be an opportunity for delegates to discuss and debate a range of key questions that are important to the success of Welsh entrepreneurs, and outline potential solutions and actions to improve the environment for entrepreneurs in Wales.  The topics for discussion will include:

  • Finance and funding
  • Engaging with big business: David dancing with Goliath
  • Engaging with Higher Education: Leveraging knowledge, resources and collaboration
  • Entrepreneurs supporting entrepreneurs: Connecting non-resident Welsh entrepreneurs with Wales
