Andrew delivered an inspirational keynote to over 100 business leaders at the Dell Technologies Summer Exec Network Forum in London.

The title of this keynote was The AI trends shaping the future and why they matter.

He has been working with Dell on a number of projects, including an interview with UK lead Steve Young, and he wrote the foreword for their Five for 25 whitepaper.

So what are the AI trends shaping the future and why do they matter? This was my task last night at the Dell Technologies Executive Network Forum in London. Earlier this year I wrote the foreword for their Five for 25 whitepaper that sets out their view on the future AI trends. With just fifteen minutes allotted to me, I looked at three of those trends in front of a packed audience of key Dell customers.

The event was hosted by Steve Young – MD and SVP, Dell Technologies, who is also featured in Digitally Curious and wrote a recommendation for the back cover.

🎶 I loved Steve’s introduction, explaining that because I only had 15 minutes, the audience would be getting all my “greatest hits”, with no B-sides.

We also heard some amazing insights from:

Arash Ghazanfari – CTO UK, Dell Technologies
Paul Bray – CTO UK, Computacenter
Dr. Laura Gilbert CBE – Senior Director of AI, Tony Blair Institute for Global Change
Michelle Nunkoo – Senior Director, UK Services Sales, Dell Technologies
Simon Wilyman – UK General Manager, Intel

The special treat for the audience was fireside chat with Lord Ed Vaizey – Former Minister for Digital and member of the House of Lords and Steve Young with a view on where AI is in the UK at the moment.

The trends from the report I looked at were:

1️⃣ AI will move from concept to reality
2️⃣ AI Agents wil be everywhere
5️⃣ Sovereign AI accelerates adoption, innovation and growth
